I am back and with awesome news. I started the Ketogenic Diet on September 9, 2018, and have lost 15 pounds, as of today, October 9, 2018. I have struggled with it, but I have not cheated and have had to learn the ins and outs of it by doing a lot of research. It is not a cure-all way to lose weight, but it will work if you work it. I had to learn what electrolytes I need and ordered KetoCore vitamins from Amazon, which is good for all that ails you. I also buy water that is infused with electrolytes. If you do not get in the right vitamins and minerals, you will feel terrible. You may experience headaches, nausea, dizziness and just an overall feeling of flu-like symptoms. So, very important to keep your electrolytes in check. That is the most important thing I cannot emphasize enough.
I am still learning, but research is my friend and I do not worry about asking a “dumb” question. Also, another great idea to start this journey is to purge your refrigerator of items you will not be needing or may tempt you. This keto diet, and/or journey, is your new best friend. I will keep you updated on the next phase, but remember, electrolytes, water and purge your bad carbohydrates from the house.
